This Policy describes terms and conditions of using alag’s shared space a.lounge in siolim location:
FACILITIES AND SERVICES
Definition: a.lounge is a property of alag and is either a shared lounge or shared work space in a collaborative work environment. Seats are limited and available only to eligible members to book in advance on a first-come, first-serve basis.
alag shall provide the Member with the subscribed Service Plans specified:
Dedicated Seat – a confirmation that entitles the Member to use a dedicated seat within a.lounge at the allotted table with Wi-Fi connectivity for one device.
Entitlement days are non-accruable and will refresh after completion of plan validity from the first day of service usage.
Service Plans are subject to the following conditions:
Subscriptions are for confirmed designated users only, and are non-transferable and cannot be shared by any third party.
The validity period for each plan begins from the date of your first confirmed calendar booking.
a.lounge usage is only limited to the subscribed user and any subscribed affiliate. A dedicated pin code will be generated for each member to unlock the door and the same will be monitored by alag for service plan usage information.
Any dedicated seat assigned to a Member is not fixed or guaranteed for the duration of their membership. alag reserves the right to re-assign or move a Member's dedicated seat location at any time without prior notice.
Access to a.lounge is allowed only during operating hours from 09:30 hrs until 18:30 hrs for all relevantly subscribed plan users.
a.lounge operates all days except on Wednesdays & Sundays.
We don’t offer a one-day plan because a.lounge is designed for individuals who value consistency, focus, and a deeper connection to our space and its purpose. Our intention is to build a thoughtful, committed community—not a transient workspace. One-day bookings don’t align with this vision. However, if you’re already a member under flow & immerse plans and wish to extend your access after exhausting your allocated days, we’re happy to assist. Just reach out at hello@alag.co and we’ll provide a custom payment link for the additional days you’d like to book.
CODE OF CONDUCT & SPACE VALUES
a.lounge is a deep and focused working space, thoughtfully designed to support quiet concentration and clarity. The atmosphere is designed to elevate focus and productivity.
To maintain the integrity of this space, all members are expected to uphold the following values and terms:
This space is not to be used for serious meetings, group meetings(unless the entire space is booked), Zoom/video calls, loud phone calls or any activity that could disturb the calm working environment for others.
Respect the comfort, privacy, and focused workflow of fellow members at all times.
Smoking is permitted only in the designated smoking area downstairs.
Any member found violating these terms or disrespecting the values of the space will be asked to leave the premises for the remainder of the day, with continued violations risking suspension of access.
SIGN UP AND BILLING
The member is required to pre book monthly seats from our official website. Pre booking is only confirmed once booking amount is reflected into our bank account.
Each membership is valid as per selected plan from the first day of calendar booking and does not carry over beyond this period.
The booking amount entitles the member to use one seat or the private space as per booking plans at a.lounge, within the validity of their membership.
The Member is required to provide at least 1 form of valid photo ID and proof of address. alag reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to terminate the Plan if the documentation is not received or alag at its sole discretion suspects the documentation is not genuine.
Pre-booking of calendar slots is available on first come first serve basis through our booking website which will be shared with members.
VISITOR POLICY
a.lounge is designed as a focused, individual working environment. Members are not permitted to bring guests or visitors into the shared space.
Guests are only permitted if the entire a.lounge is booked, with a maximum of 8 people allowed after booking confirmation.
Each membership is strictly non-transferable and valid for one individual only. Meetings or collaborative sessions are not allowed in the shared areas.
FOOD & BEVERAGE POLICY
We offer an elaborate and thoughtfully curated menu downstairs at alag.cafe for all guests to enjoy. Members wishing to place an order may do so at alag.cafe and must consume their orders within the café space.
That said, we understand the desire to try something different. Members are welcome to bring their own food or order via food delivery apps. A dedicated table is available in the outdoor section of a.lounge for consuming personal or delivered meals.
Outside food is not permitted to be consumed in the downstairs area of alag.cafe.
No food is allowed inside a.lounge at any time to maintain cleanliness and a focused working environment.
TAXES
Any amount payable by the Member under this Agreement will be exclusive of local taxes, but not limited to goods and services tax.
REFUNDS & RESCHEDULING
No refunds will be made for any confirmed bookings. alag will only provide a refund in the event that an incorrect amount has been charged to the Member.
We understand that plans can change. Rescheduling of slots is allowed, but strictly 24hrs in advance and subject to availability within the same calendar month. Members may shift their booking to another available date by choosing from open slots listed on the calendar. No carry-forwards or extensions beyond the validity of your plan will be permitted.
TERMINATION
Termination of this Agreement will be subject to the following terms:
This Agreement may be terminated forthwith in the event of any breach of the obligations on the part of the Member. alag shall be entitled (but not obliged) to retain any personal effects or other belongings of the Member until all arrears owed to alag have been paid or other loss made good.
alag has the authority to promptly terminate this Agreement if its team Members experience harassment from the Member or individuals attempting to contact the Member. Additionally, if alag has reasonable grounds to suspect immoral, unethical, illegal, or fraudulent business practices, it reserves the right to terminate this Agreement immediately without any refunds, discontinue all services, and inform the relevant authorities.
a.lounge is a property of alag and operates within the shared premises of alag.cafe. By becoming a member, you agree to abide by the policies and values outlined both in-person and on our official website www.alag.co
Any violation of these policies — including disregard for the space’s code of conduct, misuse of the facility, or behaviour that disrupts the intended environment — may result in immediate cancellation of your membership, without further discussion or refund. We reserve the right to protect the integrity of this space for all members.
MEMBER’S RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Member shall not:
Conduct himself/herself in an unprofessional and irresponsible manner or act in any way that may cause nuisance, annoyance or injury to the other Members/users of a.lounge & alag cafe.
Occupy space for commercial display, product display, storage, lodging, sleeping, or for immoral or illegal purposes.
Leave personal belongings unattended. alag is not responsible for any loss or damage of personal belongings. Unattended personal belongings might be removed by on-duty alag team members.
Impede or interfere with alag’s right of possession, control of the a.lounge and operations.
Use the lounge otherwise than for the Member’s business and in any event shall not permit the lounge, Plan Inclusions or Services provided, to be used for any illegal activity.
Alter, install, remove nor damage any furniture, fixtures, decorative materials, lounge equipment, IT cabling and telecommunications tools from within a.lounge or alag cafe, allocated desks, dedicated workspaces and common areas, in which the Members or any person authorized by the Member to enter or be in the lounge have had access due to neglect, omission, deliberate or careless acts, or a breach of any condition in this Agreement. alag shall have the right to claim compensation from the Member for repairs, replacement, loss or damages.
The Member shall:
Observe and adhere to all the rules and regulations updated from time to time made by alag for the management of the lounge.
Agree that a.lounge and alag cafe, all allocated desks and dedicated workspaces are under 24-hour CCTV surveillance. alag will only provide CCTV footage based on the request of local law enforcer, complying to local enforcement law.
Be liable for any damage caused by the Member or by those in a.lounge with the Member’s permission or at the Member’s invitation, whether express or implied including but not limited to all the Member’s employees, contractors, agents or other persons present at a.lounge. In the event of such damage, alag shall be entitled to take all steps necessary to rectify the same.
Be required to formally check in and check out of the a.lounge upon both entry and departure through private pin code for the door lock.
Vacate daily along with all personal belongings on/before the ortational day ends.
OWNER’S RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
alag shall:
Keep the facilities in the lounge in working order and properly cleaned and equipped.
Have the ultimate right to remove the Member from the lounge.
Communicate updates if any, related to Wi-fi, switchboard and other Business Services not available during normal business opening hours, Thursday to Tuesday (excluding official public holidays).
Not be under liability for any trespassing or access of non-authorised or non-alag service subscriber into the Premises in case of emergency.
Have the right at any time to access and enter the allocated seating area and dedicated private room to carry out inspection, to make repairs and alterations, and provide services and cleaning, subject to prior verbal approval by the Member except in the case of an emergency, mail delivery or cleaning service, where no such verbal approval needs be obtained.
Reserve the right to block or release calendar availability.
Reserve the right to provide the Member with alternative allocated seat and/or dedicated workspace should there be any reasonable operational requirements.
FORCE MAJEURE:
alag. shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance arising from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, fire, flood, war, civil unrest, pandemic, governmental restrictions, or interruptions in essential services such as electricity or internet. In the event of any unforeseen disruption, including internet or power outages, alag. will not be held responsible for any inconvenience caused to the tenant or member. However, alag. will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the affected usage or booking in good faith.
INDEMNITY
alag shall not be under liability for failure to have any of the lounge facilities available for the Member because of use by any other person within the lounge and alag shall not be liable to the Member if for any temporary reason the Member is unable to obtain access to the lounge.
alag is not responsible for the theft of or damage to any equipment, chattels or goods whilst the Member is a temporary tenant of a.lounge.
The Member shall not be entitled to any compensation as a result of any failure of data security or computer systems or as a result of alag failing to provide any of the Plan Inclusions or Services in accordance with this Agreement as a result of any breakdown or strike or delay or failure of any staff, manager or caretaker to perform their duties.
The Member shall indemnify alag and its respective officers, employees and agents, from all claims, liability, or loss, and all damages and costs incurred by alag which arise from the use of the Plan Inclusions or Services.
Member shall indemnify and hold harmless alag. from any and all claims, liabilities, losses, or damages arising out of or related to any work, business activity, or professional engagement conducted by the customer from within the premises. alag. assumes no responsibility—legal, financial, or otherwise—for such activities, including their outcomes, representations, or third-party interactions.
alag and a.lounge act solely as workspace service providers. We are not the owner, contributor, or supporter of any intellectual property, project, or idea being developed, planned, or executed from a.lounge by any member. Any outcomes, implications, or repercussions arising from such activities are the sole responsibility of the member. alag will not be held liable, accountable, or credited for any such work under any circumstances.
GENERAL
This Agreement is personal and is not assignable.
All notices must be in writing or email. Notices to either party will be considered served if mailed by registered email to the address.
The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of this Agreement shall not affect or impair the validity of any other provision. No waiver of any default of the Member shall be implied from any failure by alag to take action with respect to such default.
Where the Member comprises more than one individual, such individuals shall be jointly and severally liable to observe and perform the Member’s obligations under this Agreement.
This Agreement supersedes any prior Agreements and embodies the entire Agreement between the Member and alag and may not be modified, changed or altered in any way except as agreed by both parties in writing. This Agreement shall be interpreted and enforced in accordance with the national and local laws in which the a.lounge is located.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF TERMS
By making a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all the terms and conditions associated with the use of a.lounge. You accept to adhere to these terms throughout the validity of your membership.
