We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone to ensure the comfort and safety of all our patrons & our team. alag has been built with care, intention, and a deep respect for the values we stand by. You may notice our policies are detailed, they exist to protect the space and the experience we’ve thoughtfully created.

Respectful Behavior

We expect all guests to behave respectfully towards our team and fellow patrons. We expect all guests to carry themselves with calm and maturity. Any grievances or feedback can be shared respectfully with our team or emailed to us at hello@alag.co

Any form of disturbance to our customers, harassment to alag team members or disruptive behavior to our operations will not be tolerated.

No Outside Food or Drinks

We kindly request that you do not bring outside food or drinks into the coffee shop. We offer a variety of options to satisfy your cravings.

Group DINE-IN’s policy

To ensure a comfortable experience for all our guests, we do not accommodate dine-in groups larger than 4 (Four) people (or people arriving in parts to combine later). However, you are always welcome to place a takeaway order and enjoy our offerings at your convenience. Thank you for understanding!

No Serious Meetings are allowed

At alag, we cultivate a slow and calming environment for our guests. To maintain this atmosphere, property brokering, business dealings, and serious meetings are not permitted on our premises. We appreciate your understanding and respect for the space we’ve created.

Order Placement

We do not take orders at table, and over the phone, including takeaways. All orders must be placed directly at the counter. We believe this practice helps us create meaningful conversations and allows our team to explain our products better.

Table Policy

During peak hours or busy days, we allocate only 75 minutes time slot for our tables to ensure the amazing alag experience for all our guest.

Pre-Payment Policy

All orders are processed on a pre-payment basis. An order is confirmed only once the payment is made and reflected in our system. This helps us streamline operations and serve you more efficiently.

Noise Levels

Please be mindful of noise levels and respect the comfort of other guests. We strive to maintain a calm and peaceful atmosphere.

Indoor Seating Policy

Our indoor space is designed as a quiet, calm environment and is reserved for couples or pairs. It is not intended for group seating, gatherings, or loud conversations. We request all guests to respect this setting and maintain the serene atmosphere.

Pets Policy

We love pets, they bring joy and warmth. However, due to the intimate size of our space, we can only accommodate lap-sized pets (e.g. Shih Tzu, Chihuahua, Toy Poodle, Cats, small birds) that are leashed or in a carrier at all times. Thank you for understanding and helping us maintain a calm environment for everyone. We allow only one pet per person or group, leased at all times while visiting alag.

Limited Seating Capacity

Our seating capacity is limited & designed for 2 people. We appreciate your understanding and patience, especially during peak hours.

No Public Wi-Fi

We do not provide public Wi-Fi. We encourage our guests to enjoy the ambiance, engage in conversations, and savor the experience.

No Laptop Zone

We are a no laptop zone coffee shop. We want to foster an environment of relaxation and social interaction. However, tablets are welcome, we believe they’re often used for drawing, note-taking, and creative exploration.

Order Times During Busy Hours

During busy hours, orders might take longer to complete. We appreciate your patience as we strive to provide the best service and quality.

Serving Larger Groups

It might get difficult to accommodate and serve larger groups during busy hours. You are welcome to place to-go orders or wait until we are able to find you a table.

Responsibility for Belongings

Management is not responsible for your belongings. Please keep your personal items secure and with you at all times.

Restroom Use

The restroom is for the use of our customers only. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a clean and accessible facility for everyone.

Parking Guidelines

Do not park in front of any gates. Roadside parking is at the customer’s risk, and we are not responsible for any damages or issues that may occur.

Children Supervision

Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. We want to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all our guests.

Cleanliness

Please dispose of trash in the designated bins and keep the area tidy. We appreciate your help in maintaining a clean and welcoming space.

Sustainability Efforts

We encourage the use of reusable cups and aim to reduce waste. Feel free to bring your own cup for a discount on your drink.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is not permitted inside the coffee shop. Please use designated outdoor area if you need to smoke. Use the ashtray to dispose.

Prohibited Substances

The use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited and punishable by law. We maintain a safe and lawful environment for all our guests.

Closing Time

Our last order is taken at 6:15 PM, and depending on the time and kitchen status, it may be served as a takeaway. We close our gates at 6:45 PM. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation

For convenience and safety, we prefer cashless payments.

By choosing to dine in at alag, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

    1.    Photography and Videography: During your visit, you may be photographed or filmed as part of the the coffee shop’s daily activities. These visuals may feature alag’s space, customers, and staff, showcasing the vibrant and creative energy that defines our community.

    2.    Promotional Use: Any media captured at alag may be used in our public promotions, including (but not limited to) social media, website content, and marketing materials. These images and videos are intended to celebrate the atmosphere, community, and culture that make alag special.

    3.    Opt-Out Option: If you prefer not to be photographed or filmed, please inform a member of our team upon arrival or during your visit, and we will ensure that you are not included in any promotional content.
