Brewing Stories from the Seven Sisters
Coffee at alag celebrates and unites the diverse crop from the remote landscapes of the Seven Sisters of India. Being natives of Northeast India, nothing excites us more than brewing coffee from our part of the country—a region often overlooked in the world of specialty coffee, where the spotlight traditionally shines on South India.
But the Northeast holds its own magic. With its breathtaking landscapes and unique geo-climatic characteristics, the region is now producing high-quality coffee boasting distinct taste notes. This discovery thrilled us and inspired a deeper connection to our roots.
Currently, we’re offering two coffees: one from Assam and the other from Nagaland. Each cup carries the essence of the land it’s from, blending tradition, culture, and nature into a unique experience.
As we continue this journey, you can expect us to bring more coffees from the Northeast to your cup, each with its own flavour profile and a story waiting to be told. At alag, it’s not just about coffee—it’s about community, and the beauty of sharing untold stories.
